How do I get started?+
Create a company account, complete your company profile, and select an available plan. You can then use Gyard to find candidates who fit your hiring needs.
Can I find armed and unarmed guards?+
Yes. Review each candidate's profile for their license information, experience, and qualifications. Your company must confirm that the candidate meets the requirements for the role.
Does Gyard replace our screening and onboarding process?+
No. Gyard helps you find and connect with candidates. Your company remains responsible for checking licenses, reviewing required documents, completing applicable background checks, and approving candidates for employment.
Can we recruit for county contracts or assignments with additional requirements?+
You can seek candidates for these opportunities. Your company must confirm that each candidate meets the specific contract and assignment requirements before placing them.
How much does Gyard cost?+
Gyard offers company subscription plans based on recruiting needs. Visit our pricing page for current rates, included connections, and plan terms.
What counts as a connection?+
A connection occurs when a guard accepts your company's offer through Gyard. Reviewing a profile alone does not count as a connection.
When can we see a guard's contact information?+
Recruiters use Gyard's internal messaging before a connection is established. Full contact information becomes available after the guard accepts an offer.
Does accepting an offer mean the guard is cleared to work?+
No. Acceptance establishes the connection. Your company must still complete its hiring process and confirm eligibility before assigning the guard to work.
Can we save candidates and reuse our recruiting templates?+
Yes. Every company plan includes a private Talent Bench, where recruiters can save promising candidates with notes, statuses, and follow-up dates. Companies can also use starter recruiting templates or save their own — intro, phone screen, post details, next steps, orientation — and insert them into any guard conversation with one tap.

Does joining Gyard guarantee a job?+
No. Gyard helps companies discover and connect with you. Hiring decisions depend on the employer's needs, interviews, screening, and onboarding requirements.
Can I join if I am already employed?+
Yes. You can create a profile while employed and indicate your availability for other opportunities. Keep your availability updated so recruiters understand what you are looking for.
What information should I keep updated?+
Keep your experience, license details, expiration dates, availability, and preferred work locations current. Employers may request additional documents during their hiring process.
Who determines my pay and schedule?+
The hiring security company determines compensation, schedules, job duties, and employment terms. Confirm these details directly with the employer before accepting a position.
Who pays me?+
Your hiring company handles payroll. Gyard does not pay guards for their work.
Can I decline an opportunity?+
Yes. Review the role, location, schedule, and compensation before deciding whether an opportunity is right for you.
